Stuart Turner were recently contacted by one of our Pump Specialist partners to attend a five storey private residence in Belgravia, London with view to replacing an existing three pump booster set which was coming to the end of its life cycle.
A detailed site survey was carried out by our engineering partners and a dimensionally interchangeable FWS booster set was offered to the client to replace the existing unit.
Once the installation costings were submitted and authorised Stuart Turner supplied an SP3V-10SV06F022T-MAB-24 three pump fully WRAS approved booster set. The installation wasn’t straight forward as restricted access to the basement plant room meant that both sets had to be dismantled to facilitate removal of the old set and installation of the new replacement.. The complete installation including commissioning was carried out within just a few hours to minimise water supply downtime.
BEFORE - The original booster set (below) was heavily corroded and at the end of its working life.
AFTER - The new replacement booster set below was configured to be dimensionally interchangeable with the original set which mimised water supply downtime to the property.
